The Green House
In addition to teaching lessons for Kokua’s ‘AINA In Schools and 3R’s programs, The Green House provides hands-on sustainable living workshops for both children and adults. Classes take place at The Green House in Pauoa, O’ahu and are also offered in Hawai’i classrooms.
Teachers interested in hosting a Green House workshop should visit The Green House website for an updated list of school workshops and information. Kokua’s environmental education mini-grant program and The City & County of Honolulu’s Recycling Teaching Partners program can help to cover fees for school workshops.
