Getting Started
Our staff currently works directly with ʻĀINA Teams at 15 Oʻahu elementary schools to implement the ʻĀINA In Schools program.
While we are not currently accepting applications for the program, any school or educator may utilize the many resources we have available for Hawai'i Farm to School programs, including ʻĀINA In Schools curricula, resource guides, workshops and other events, Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation Mini-Grants, and Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation Field Trip Grants. Please subscribe to our ʻĀINA In Schools Newsletter for regular updates on the program and farm to school in Hawaiʻi.
ʻĀINA In Schools Curriculum Trainings are available to O'ahu teachers at the start of each semester. If you or a teacher you know is interested in teaching the 'ĀINA In Schools curricula, join the 'AINA In Schools mailing list for details!
We also encourage you to get involved with your island's school garden network. See a listing at http://www.hawaiischoolgardenhui.org
