ʻĀINA In Schools North Shore Farm to School Tour

Join Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation's ʻĀINA In Schools program on a North Shore Farm to School Field Trip Day. We will be starting the day at the Sunset Beach Elementary School ʻĀINA garden and orchard, touring and having lunch at Kahuku Farms, and visiting Kahuku High & Intermediate School's aquaponics, compost and ag programs. DATE: Saturday, December 6, 2014 TIME: 8:30am - 3:30pm MEETING LOCATION: Sunset Beach Elementary School COST: $5 per person (includes lunch) Participants will be driving their personal vehicles between field trip sites. Carpooling is encouraged. Participants should bring a reusable water bottle, sun protection, and comfortable shoes and be prepared to join in on a garden-based service project. This field trip is open to families and activities will be kid-friendly for ages 4 and up.
