2013-2014 Kōkua Calendar Art Contest
January 03, 2013
This year's Kōkua Hawai'i Foundation calendar contest theme is ALOHA 'ĀINA IN ACTION! We are asking island keiki to put on their creative thinking caps to show in a comic strip story how they would use amazing super powers to Kōkua our environment to save our 'ĀINA .
School-aged children grades K-12 can submit a 2-dimensional comic strip art using paint, crayons, markers, pastels or collage to create their comic vision. Each submission must be accompanied by an Entry Form that includes a 2-3 sentence description of their “Aloha 'ĀINA in Action” comic strip story on the back of their artwork.
Winning entries will be included in the 2013-2014 school year Kōkua Calendar and will receive a Kōkua tote bag filled with other great prizes. Entries must be postmarked by February 22, 2013. Click here for contest details and to download the entry form and templates.
