3Rs School Recycling

Kaʻaʻawa Elementary School hosted the second Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drive of the school year with fantastic results. Eighteen school volunteers joined together to collect and sort 1,700 lbs of HI-5s in addition to nearly 2,500 lbs of scrap metal, eWaste, household goods, and batteries. The next Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drive is October 21 at Kalāheo High School from 9:00am-12:pm.
