3Rs School Recycling
The Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives continue to provide schools and communities the opportunity to easily recycle a variety of items. At the same time they are a great school fundraiser. March was an exceptional month for our recycling drives: over 6,000 pounds of material was collected between Kaʻelepulu and Mililani Waʻena Elementary Schools. Mahalo to the wonderful team of parents and students who showed up early to help at both schools and especially to the Army troop that volunteered at Mililani Waena Elementary School. Thank you for your kōkua!
There will be two Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives this month and everyone is invited:
April 5, 9:00am - 1:00pm at Moanalua Elementary School
April 12, 9:00am - 12:00pm at Mililani ʻUka Elementary School
We will be collecting scrap metal, computers, printer cartridges, laptops, game systems, batteries, TVs, reusable clothing, household items, used cooking oil, paper, corrugated cardboard and HI-5 containers.
