3Rs School Recycling Program
Earth Month was quite a busy one for our 3Rs Schools. 15 presentations and events were conducted on waste reduction, recycling best practices, food waste prevention, waste audits, and recycling drives for over 600 students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Mahalo to Island Pacific Academy, Kapolei Elementary, Sacred Hearts Academy, Kalihi Uka Elementary, Castle High, Mililani Uka Elementary, Kaiser High, and Daniel K. Inouye Elementary Schools for making 3Rs education a priority for your students.
Please join us for the final two Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives for the 2017-2018 school year and help support these schools by bringing your: HI-5 cans and bottles, scrap metal, used cooking oil, household items, confidential documents, batteries, and eWaste including TVs, laptops, computers, projectors, printers, cell phones, and toner cartridges:
- May 5, 9:00am-12:00pm: Mililani Waena Elementary School
- May 12, 9:00am-12:00pm: Moanalua Elementary & Middle School
