In December, KHF's 3Rs School Recycling Program visited Honolulu Waldorf and Kalihi Elementary Schools. Both schools are eager to get started on their programs and had over 50 students come to the program orientations. 

As a friendly reminder, West Oʻahu Aggregate (WOA) will now be providing trash and recycling services to all Oʻahu Department of Education (DOE) schools. Every Oʻahu DOE school has either a red or yellow recycling dumpster. WOA picks trash up every day from Tuesday through Saturday. Recycling is picked up twice a week, Tuesdays and Saturdays. Don’t forget to flatten all cardboard boxes and keep out plastic bags to avoid contamination and fines! For missed pickups, requests, or questions call WOA at 808-847-7780.
