ʻĀINA Chefs are Cooking for Change!
Kokua Hawaii Foundation is excited to partner with some of our favorite ʻĀINA Chefs to present ʻĀINA Cooking for Change, a series of virtual family cooking demos every Sunday in October at 1:00pm HST. The series will be hosted by Chef Ed Kenney, KHF Board Member and local food champion, and will feature Chef Dave Caldiero, Chef Mark “Gooch” Noguchi, Chef Lamont Brown and Chef Tiffanie Masutani. All cooking classes will be hosted live on Zoom where families and KHF members can cook alongside ʻĀINA Chefs and their keiki, make connections to the ʻĀINA In Schools curriculum and learn about the most up-to-date farm to school and local food policies. Recipes will highlight ‘ulu and feature locally grown produce from schools gardens and partner farms across Oʻahu. Each family that registers will be eligible to receive a cooking kit with featured ingredients donated by the Chef Hui.
