Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives
These drives happen twice a month on Saturdays at Oʻahu schools. Proceeds from select recycled materials go to support the host schools, making this both a fundraiser and a great opportunity for your school and neighboring communities to recycle a variety of items. We are now seeking schools to host Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives for the 2016-2017 school year! Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives are a unique opportunity to recycle materials such as scrap metal, computers/electronics, printer cartridges, laptops, game systems, batteries, TVs, clothing, household items, HI-5 containers, household cooking oil, and confidential documents.
To claim a day on next year’s schedule, email [email protected]. Spots are limited, and it is first come first serve!
In the 2015-2016 school year, we hosted Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives at 14 schools collecting over 103,000 lbs. of materials for recycling! Mahalo to all of our partner schools as well as our recycling partners that make these events possible.
