Kamaile Academy and Kamiloiki Elementary School hosted Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives this December with a lot of successes! Between them, over 25 student and staff volunteers helped to recycle just under 8,000 lbs of scrap metal. Kamaile Academy took it to the next level in community engagement, going house to house collecting neighbors' scrap metal! Also collected at the Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives were batteries, old electronics, gently used clothing and household items, and more from the community.
