Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives
May 04, 2017
April was a big month for recycling drives! Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation coordinated three Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drives and one Dell Reconnect eWaste drive; at University Lab School, Lāʻie Elementary, Moanalua Elementary/Middle and Stevenson Middle School, respectively. All together, over 11,000 pounds of eWaste were rescued in April, along with 500 lbs of HI-5 recycling. University Lab School gets a special shout out for collecting over 400 lbs of HI-5s and earning $330 for their school!
Only ONE more Aloha ʻĀina Recycling Drive is left this school year. Come out to Maryknoll School on May 13!
