Co-Founder Jack Johnson Supports KHF Through Waikiki Shows
Mahalo to the thousands of Jack Johnson fans who came to support Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation during Jack's Honolulu stop on his From Here To Now To You World Tour. Joining Jack on stage was Michael Kiwanuka from London, England and Hawaiʻi’s own Kawika Kahiapo and Paula Fuga. Several non-profit organizations from Hawaiʻi engaged concert goers with their important work while All At Once volunteers collected and photographed people’s eco-commitments to eat local and reduce their use of plastic. The shows also included delicious locally sourced food, water refill stations, recycling, and a bike valet for those getting to the show via pedal power. Proceeds from the shows benefited Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation’s programs, which include ʻĀINA In Schools, 3R's School Recycling, KHF Field Trip Grants, KHF Mini-Grants, and Plastic Free Hawaiʻi. Mahalo to Jack, the musicians, non-profit partners, businesses, and especially to all of the volunteers who made the event a success!
