Earth Day is on April 22 every year, and throughout the month of April, there are an abundance of events where you can celebrate the planet with your friends and family! We also encourage you to do something extra for the Earth this month: from making a plastic-free commitment, to starting a garden, or planting a tree, your actions matter!
Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation is participating in the below events during April in celebration of Earth Month.
- Saturday, April 8: Kaʻaʻawa 5K Fun Run, 7:00am-10:00am at Kualoa Ranch
- Saturday, April 8: YMCA Healthy Kids Day, 9:00am-2:00pm at the Bishop Museum
- Wednesday, April 12: Sustainability Showcase, 9:30am-1:00pm, Honolulu Community College
- Saturday, April 15: Plastic Free Hawaiʻi Beach Cleanup, 8:30am-11:00am, James Campbell National Wildlife Refuge at Kahuku
- Saturday, April 15: Plastic Free Hawaiʻi Beach Cleanup, 8:30am-11:00am, Kailua Beach Park
- Monday, April 17: Kapiʻolani Community College Earth Day 2017, 10:00am-2:00pm at the KCC Great Lawn
- Wednesday, April 19: Earth Day Festival, 10:00am-3:00pm, University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa Campus Center
- Friday, April 21: Earth Fest ‘17, 1:30pm-8:00pm, at Kaiser High School
- Saturday, April 22 (Earth Day): 10th Annual Mauka to Makai Environmental Expo, 9:00am-2:00pm at Waikīkī Aquarium
- Saturday, April 22 (Earth Day): Sustainable Coastlines Hawaiʻi Earth Day Event, 9:00am-2:00pm at Waimānalo Bay Beach Park
