Kōkua Learning Farm Field Trips

Waipahu Intermediate students participating in Future Farmers of America and Leadership Club were our first field trip of 2023! Students dove into learning about the agroforestry orchard, kalo library, and vermicompost systems. Highlights of the day included harvesting kalo and radishes, caring for our fruit trees, and harvesting vermicast. We were so inspired by these students and look forward to them returning to the farm.

Lāʻie and Sunset Beach Elementary are the next field trips on our calendar. Each field trip we learn more and get equally excited for future students to visit.
