Mahalo to the families, teachers, and school staff who came out for the Spring ‘ĀINA Garden Parties! The ‘ĀINA Garden Beds are now ready for planting by students. Spring Garden Units include Grade K Tops and Bottoms Garden (plant parts), Grade 1 Good Buddy Garden (companion plants), Grade 3 Compost Lessons, Grade 4 Hawaiian Garden, and Grade 5 Scientific Garden. Mahalo to Dr. Monique Mironesco and her UH West Oʻahu Politics of Food Students for lending a hand at Waikīkī Elementary School’s Garden Party.
