Art Explorium Workshops

Using plastic bottle caps, beads, and paint pens, Art Explorium will host an afternoon workshop Sunday, September 15th from 2:30pm-4:00pm, showing kids how to turn plastic into their new favorite accessory! At the Keiki Workshop: Up-cycled Necklaces, children will design bottle caps, add them to necklaces, and finish off with some beads for detail. Instructor Lily Hebert teaches workshops at the Art Explorium, led Art Camp last summer at the Art Explorium, and is a Mixed Media Art teacher at University Laboratory School. Register Here. This workshop offers a great, hands-on way to guide kids towards creative ways of giving old items new life. Not only will they have a blast, but they will be able to reuse the skills they gain at the workshop at home! The best part? They get to walk away with their own signature upcycled statement piece!
